Our club is in BRC Area 18 which organises a number of competitions for National Championships. CERC enters teams and individuals in many of these events. If you want to represent CERC at area competitions contact Sarah Carless (Dressage) and Sam Kellett (Jumping).

TEAM NEWS

Novice Dressage Qualifier - June 27 2010: Congratulations to Alison Barlow and Lesley Liddle who were third and fourth respectively at the Area 18 Novice Dressage at Longney. Well done to all riders from CERC.

Area 18 Dressage to Music Qualifier: Teresa Ventimiglia who was 4th in the DTM Novice (No Points) at Home Farm on Saturday 12 June. Teresa scored 74.33%. Alison Barlow was 2nd in the DTM Novice (BD Points) - score to follow. It is likely that both have qualified for the National Championships which will be held at Aintree in October. Congratulations to them both.

Area 18 Outdoor Show Jumping Qualifier: Congratulations to Sam Kellett (Newtown Butler II), Emma Kellett (Granby Calief), Jill Carless (Air Raid) and Sarah Carless (Steady Teddy) who won the Area 18 Novice SJ Qualifier at Malvern on Sunday May 30. They were the only team of 17 to finish on a score of 0. They will compete at the BRC National Championships at Lincoln Showground in September.

Area Indoor Dressage: Congratulations to CERC dressage team's performance at the Area Indoor Dressage Qualifier at Hartpury (Feb 27 2010). Out of 33 teams, CERC's team of Sam Kellett (My Master Diamond), Mechelle Lake (Iona), Teresa Ventimiglia (Charlie Brown) and Sarah Carless (Steady Teddy) came 4th. Teresa was also 6th in her arena. The team of Jill Carless (Kingsheath Mastermind), Claire Richards (Tinkas Tale), Richard Taylor (Disko Bay) and Sam Kellett also did very well in what turned out to be a very high standard competition. Well done everybody.
