COTSWOLD EDGE RIDING CLUB
The Club started on 1 July 1982 with the name ‘Wotton Horse and Pony Club’, its aim to encourage and improve riding in the area, both as a sport and as recreation. The Club encourages a friendly and helpful atmosphere.
The Club has no junior section, accepting members from their fourteenth birthday, and expecting them to integrate with the seniors at rallies and competitions.
The club holds a variety of rallies in all disciplines and for all abilities. Rallies usually take place at weekends, although some summer evenings are utilised. Most events take place within the area of the Cotswold escarpment from Chipping Sodbury to Cam/Dursley. The club also holds a number of social events throughout the year.
The Club is affiliated to the British Riding Clubs (Area 18) so members can enjoy a wide range of benefits this offers and also participate in regular Area Competitions/Training.
